The Indianola Chamber of Commerce & the Indianola Downtown Merchants Association are joining forces to host Summer Nights Live, a free, family-friendly event on the Indianola Square. Gather your family, your children, friends, and everyone in between to enjoy a beautiful summer evening.
What happened to Friday Night Live?
Originally called “Friday Night Live”, starting in 2023 the concert series will be a totally new experience! For starters, some concerts will be held on Saturday, so a new name was in order.
Then, to take advantage of the finished construction of the new Indianola downtown square, the concerts will now be held in the heart of Indianola. In past years, the “Friday Night Live” concerts were held at Indianola Memorial Park and Amphitheater.
Finally, and maybe most important, the concerts are now FREE! You heard it, FREE! In the past tickets were required which helped offset the costs of the event. Now the Indianola Chamber has joined forces with other local non-profits and sponsors to make this event available to the public at no cost!
When and where are the concerts?
Trainwreck will be performing on June 9th, 2023 starting at 7pm.
Fan favorite Final Mix will be performing on August 26th, 2023 to close out the concert series
To attend the concert, simply show up at the downtown square! Arrive early to have dinner and ensure you get a great spot to enjoy the show.
What if it rains?
No rain dates are currently scheduled so fingers crossed for great summer weather!
When can I park?
There are various free public parking lots surrounding the downtown square. A handy downtown parking map is available here.
Food and Drinks: What Will Be Available?
In addition to fantastic live music, local eateries will be selling food and drinks. Come hungry to savor some of the best that Indianola has to offer.
Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savory, there will be something for everyone. Please note that coolers are not allowed, so be sure to take advantage of the food options available for purchase.

What Should I Bring?
If you aren’t rocking a VIP or reserved table, be sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
No coolers are allowed at the concert, so be sure to take advantage of the delicious food options available for purchase.
